No Two Ways About It: Your Next Packing Cubes Should Be Double-Sided
We've all been there. When that meticulously packed suitcase that you worked so hard to organize at the beginning of your trip turns into an explosion of dirty laundry by the time you head home. Fellow travelers, there's a better way.
You may have a set of packing cubes already, which help to organize your clothes within your suitcase, and even compress them to free up more space. But eBags' latest packing cubes are unique in that they're double sided: just fill up one side with your clean clothes when you pack, and after you're done wearing something, re-pack it on the opposite side.
Why not just unpack all of your clothes when you arrive, and then use regular packing cubes for dirty laundry, you might ask? If you always pack the exact right number of shirts, pants, underwear, and socks for your trip, then this might be a viable option. But I usually wind up with at least a few extra articles of clothing at the end of a trip, and I'd rather keep them separated from the dirty laundry so I don't have to wash them when I get home.
What About a Laundry Bag?
Well then why not a dirty laundry bag? You certainly could use one, but laundry bags don't offer as much compression as a proper packing cube, which is important if you don't want to carefully fold all of your dirty garments on your way out of your hotel room. Also, moving the majority of your clothes from multiple small packing cubes to a single large laundry bag can mess up your organization system. With double sided packing cubes, everything that came in a cube can go back into the same cube after you wear it, just on the other side.
Are double sided packing cubes going to completely transform the way you travel? No. But they're an affordable luxury that'll make every trip just a little bit more streamlined. Get a small one for $20, a medium sized one for $22, or a large for $27.
